The Regional Workshop on Monitoring and Evaluation of Population, Health and Nutrition Programs

The Institute for Population and Social Research at Mahidol University will conduct a Regional Workshop on Monitoring and Evaluation of Population, Health and Nutrition Programs from 28 November to 16 December 2011. For more information, the brochure and the application form are attached.
Monitoring and Evaluation of Population, Health and Nutrition Programs Training Workshop
October 10 - 28, 2011
The School of Public Health and the Institute of Population Studies at the Addis Ababa University, Addis Ababa, in close collaboration with the Ethiopian Public health association Ethiopia, are pleased to announce a special training opportunity in monitoring and evaluation of Population, Health and Nutrition Programs. The Training workshop on “Monitoring and Evaluation of Population, Health and Nutrition Programs” will take place October 10 - 28, 2011, in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. This three-week course will provide intensive, hands-on training in the fundamentals of monitoring and evaluation. The course will target mid-level health and population officers, program managers and other professionals involved with the implementation of population, health and nutrition programs. All applications must be received by September 15, 2011. The number of available place is limited. See attachments for more information.
II. Seminar
Strategies and Best Practices on Global Issues of Gender, Migration, HIV & AIDS and Human Development Executive-Level Seminar
30 October – 4 November 2011
The Strategies and Best Practices on Global Issues of Gender, Migration, HIV & AIDS and Human Development Executive-Level Seminar will be in Nanjing and Shanghai, China from 30 October – 4 November 2011. The seminar will be conducted in English (without translation). The registration deadline is 20 September 2011 and if you register by 8 September 2011 you receive an early registration discount. A limited number of partial scholarships are also available.

This 6-day interactive seminar will provide senior and executive-level leaders and managers from Africa, Asia & Pacific, and beyond with a portfolio of global and country-specific best practices and strategies based on successful programs and initiatives that address global issues related to gender, migration, HIV & AIDS and human development. The seminar will also provide these participant leaders with the practical opportunities, group process techniques, and problem-solving coaching in small working groups to share successes and continuing challenges and to then develop lessons learned, next steps, and solutions related to their chosen priority issues.
