Training Opportunities:
Virtual Leadership and Development Program for M&E Teams in Anglophone Africa
Program Dates: 22 Nov. 2010 – 11 March 2011

MEASURE Evaluation is currently accepting applications for a Virtual Leadership Development Program (VLDP) for teams working in monitoring and evaluation (M&E) of HIV/AIDS, FP/RH and Infectious Disease programs in Anglophone countries in Africa. The main goal of the program is to strengthen the leadership of teams involved with the collection, analysis and use of health data, at all levels of an organization, so that teams are able to face and overcome identified M&E challenges and achieve desired results. Integration of Reproductive Health/Family Planning and HIV/AIDS – Capacity Building Course
Centre for African Family Studies, Kenya (Nairobi)
Course dates: 1-12 November 2010
This two-week course has been designed to reinforce the capacity of health managers and planners in managing integrated RH/FP services and implementing effective HIV&AIDS programmes. The course is designed to explore the different aspects of integration and examine key management systems that may need to be adapted to effectively deliver services in an integrated setting. The course also provide guidelines for assessing integration at several different organizational levels and offers practical experiences on how to make integration work better in RH/FP programs.
