This fact sheet presents key family planning findings from a baseline survey of married women in Aligarh, India, conducted in 2010 by the Measurement, Learning & Evaluation (MLE) Project and the Urban Health Initiative in India. The Urban Health Initiative will use these findings to inform the design of programs to improve access to and demand for family planning, focusing particularly on meeting the needs of the urban poor.
