The MLE project uses a quasi-experimental research design in which data collection occurs simultaneously in intervention and comparison cities. This page includes a number of questionnaires that the MLE project has developed for use at the individual, household and facility levels to measure and evaluate the impact of the Urban RH Initiative.
Mapping with geographic information system (GIS) technology can help program planners identify urban poor populations, who often live in slums and are commonly excluded from official population counts. This section includes materials on slum mapping associated with the Urban RH Initiative, which can be adapted by other programs.
